UPDATED – due to the coronavirus outbreak in Scott’s dad’s assisted living facility in early 2021 and some other logistical issues for us, we postponed this event from January to another date (TBD) in 2021. Right now, we are thinking of December 2021, as a fun send-off to us for our honeymoon!

One aspect of wedding receptions that we really enjoy the most is when friends and family give stories or speeches about the bride and groom. So we want to incorporate this time-honored tradition into our wedding year.
At an updated day/time, we invite you to grab your favorite beverage(s) and join us on Zoom for a Happy Hour celebration of our marriage—centered around stories and speeches.
During the Happy Hour, we would love for every one of our friends and family to participate in telling a story about one or both of us, giving a speech, or even passing along a tidbit of marriage wisdom to us.
The information for logging into the Zoom event will be provided on this webpage prior to the event.
We recognize that not everyone may be able to attend this event, and even some who attend may not feel comfortable telling a story or speech in front of others.
But we still want you to participate in your own way, so we invite you to do one of two things.
First, you can send us a video message that we will play at the Zoom event for everyone to see. A second option is to use the button below to submit a written story in advance that either we or our officiants will read aloud to everyone during the happy hour. You have the option of having us acknowledge your name or keep you anonymous.
